About me
Megan Aragon is the Technology Services Administrator at East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind, where she leads Assistive Technology (AT) strategy and training initiatives. A native AT user, she brings lived experience with vision loss to systems-level program design and service delivery. She launched the Assistive Technology Instructor Program–Texas (ATIP-TX), expanding the pipeline of qualified instructors and strengthening instructional standards statewide. Megan previously held leadership roles with the American Foundation for the Blind and holds an MBA focused on Organizational Development and Leadership from UT Tyler. She advocates for integrating patient perspective into program design, policy discussions, and service delivery models.
