About me
A global leader in regulatory science, Max Wegner is Senior Vice President and Head of Regulatory Affairs at Bayer, overseeing all regulatory activities for the Pharmaceuticals division. He began his career in pharmacy at the University of Bonn, continued his pharmacology PhD at Bayer, and advanced through roles in Product Development with assignments in China and the USA. He later led Clinical Development before returning in 2018 to head Regulatory Affairs. Max is a certified Pharmacist for Drug Information, serves on key DIA and EFPIA committees, lectures widely, and recently served as president of the German Biotechnology Industry Association.
