Jeffery Painter is the Quantitative Leader for Safety Innovation and Analytics at GSK, advancing pharmacovigilance through Bayesian methods, semantic similarity, and ontology-driven analytics. He is the author of PVLens, a drug safety reference database derived from regulatory labeling, and leads development of WebSim, a semantic similarity server supporting drug safety research. With over 20 years of software development experience and more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry, his work focuses on scalable NLP, real-world data integration, and AI-driven approaches to modern safety signal detection and evidence generation.
