About me
John D. Diaz-Decaro, PhD, MS is a pharmacoepidemiologist and real-world evidence strategist with expertise in real-world evidence, observational study design, and AI-enabled evidence generation. He served as Senior Director and Lead Epidemiologist at ModernaTX, directing a global RWE portfolio across infectious disease and autoimmune programs. He is the founder of Black Swan Causal Labs and chairs the ISPE Digital Technology & AI Special Interest Group. He holds prior adjunct faculty appointments at UCLA and California State University, Dominguez Hills.
