About me
Joann O’Connor is a pharmaceutical R&D leader with 20 years of drug development experience spanning research, development, and commercialization. She is Executive Director, Head of Pipeline Project Management for Business Development and Partnerships at GSK, where she leads a specialized team of project managers that deliver fit for purpose development plans to support new business deals, manage the integration and separation of in licensed, acquired, and partnered assets, and drive continuous improvement across R&D. Previously, Joann held senior project management roles at Organon, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Actavis, and Forest Laboratories. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Emory University and is a certified project manager (CPM).
