About me
Dr. Gerd Rippin is a trained statistician, receiving his statistics degree in 1995 from the University of Dortmund, Germany (equivalent to BSc and MSc), and his Dr. of Sciences (equivalent to PhD) in 1999 from the University of Mainz, Germany. Dr. Rippin has worked as a medical statistician since 1995 and joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2000, where he was working first in clinical trials (Phase I-III) while specializing in the area of real-world studies since 2017. Since 2020, Dr. Rippin has further specialized in the area of External Comparator studies, where he is currently publishing his research (also in collaboration with EMA) very actively.
