Manager of the Medicines and Pharmaceutical Ingredients Inspection Department (GIMED) at Anvisa, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency. A pharmacist with a Master’s and a PhD candidate (UnB), he is a certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/19011). His career features extensive experience in international GMP inspections, drug registration, and combating falsified medicines. He represents Brazil at the WHO Member State Mechanism on Substandard and Falsified Medical Products. His expertise centers on public health, pharmaceutical quality, and global regulatory strategies. Previously, he specialized in Health Surveillance at Fiocruz and focused on the rational use of medicines and pharmaceutical care.
