Dr. Haitao Chu is a Senior Director at Pfizer’s Statistical Research and Data Science Center, a role he has held since 2022. He earned his PhD in Biostatistics from Emory University. Dr. Chu has held several academic appointments, including Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University, Research Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and most recently, tenured Full Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications with more than 24,000 citations and was elected a Fellow of the American Statistical Association in 2016.
